Hello! I’m Star and I fancy myself a creative ninja.

 

For the past 20 years, I’ve been honing my art and design skills through any medium I could get my hands on. The last 12, I have been working in the fine art industry serving the hospitality, healthcare, corporate and residential settings, in addition to contractual and freelance work with Publishing Houses, Small Businesses and Non-Profits.

 

I earned my BFA at Columbus College of Art & Design in Media Studies (Photography/Film/Video) while working in many different industries all that curated my love and desire as a creative, which inspired a transition to a career in design. After many years working in the digital world I fell in love with drawing again and am now able to utilize both in my current work. Hand lettering has become a passion that continues to grow and meld into both book cover design and photography.

 

When I’m not making art for hotels or designing book covers, I’m wandering with my camera and getting close to anything I can to see in a different way. I draw and design as much as possible, as I never want to limit myself, and I want to push my own boundaries as well as expand my knowledge and passions everyday. I’m based in Toledo, Ohio but work with people all over the world and look forward to working with you.
